1988 Jaguar XJ6

The Jaguar XJ series cars have been in existence since 1968, and after going through a series of modifications, the Jaguar 1988 XJ6. Initially, it was rolled out into the market with a standard 2.8L V6 engine and an optional 4.2L engine for the top end trim.

Fuel Economy

During the next year, Ford gained control over Jaguar’s production operations and they started redesigning the Jaguar cars to be capable of churned out greater power.

The 1988 Jaguar XJ6 delivered a fuel economy of 15 MPG in city premises and 22 MPG on highways. It had a passenger volume of 93ft3 (4D) and luggage volume of 13ft3 (4D). It was marketed at a starting price of about $4,500.
