1991 Jaguar XJ6

The 1991 Jaguar XJ6 was firmly tuned and provided in elegant Vanden Plas and base trims. This superb vehicle included high end comforts like fold-down burl walnut picnic tables.

Similar to its predecessor, the 1991 XJ6 had a 113-inch wheelbase. However, the modified doors were 1.5 inches taller, 9.3 inches wider, and 3.2 inches shorter. It was equipped with a 4.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine along with 4-speed automatic transmission.

Along with the Vanden Plas and XJ6, the 1991 Jaguar XJ6 lineup included a Vanden Plas Majestic and Sovereign limited edition. All models were outfitted with 4-wheel-disc antilock brakes, manual lap belts, and front shoulder belts.

Added Comfort in Top End Trim

In addition to the standard features included in the 1991 Jaguar XJ6, 4 wheel disc brakes along with 4 wheel ABS, speed/cruise control, power door and locks, tilt steering wheel, and power windows, were also available in the top end trims. An advanced feature in this generation was the theft deterrent system.

1991 Jaguar XJ6 was supported by two wheel rear drive. The conventional features were rear defroster, driver automatic seatbelt, and front shoulder seatbelts. The fuel economy delivered by the 1991 XJ6 was 17 mpg in city and 22 mpg on highways. The 1991 Jaguar XJ6 vehicles were marketed in price range of $1,200 to $3,100.
